How the Calculation Works ?

1. SIP Compounding: Each monthly installment grows at the expected monthly return rate until the end of the investment period.
2. Maturity Value: The sum of all compounded installments gives the projected maturity value.
3. XIRR Computation: The calculator uses the Newton-Raphson iterative method to find the exact internal rate of return that equates the present value of all cashflows (negative SIPs and the final positive maturity value) to zero.
4. Gold Accumulation: The maturity value is divided by the current gold price to estimate the total grams of gold you would own.
